Flowers? Veggies? What to plant.

I never got around to my seed catalogs this year as we were so busy with the move. Now spring is definitely here and the garden is ready to go. I turned the soil last week, carefully avoiding the sprouting garlic and broccoli plants. Now it's time to think about what else to grow.

I'm tentatively thinking carrots from seed, lettuce from plants, and cutting flowers. Maybe more nasturtiums. I would also love to start some perennial flowers to transplant at the bay.

On our tiny balcony space I'll grow herbs and flowers. I might also do some hot peppers because they are so forgiving of neglect.
